Welcome! My name is Shannon.
I am a "shoot from the hip" kind of photographer! I am always pushing myself to rise to the next level, and give my clients something different.
Cookie cutter photography does not describe my style at all! I work best when I wing it! Natural light photography is what I adore, and capturing the true essence, nature, and soul of my clients is what I do best with it!
Photojournalistic, edgy, vintage with some classic twists...these terms descirbe my style of photography.
I enjoy building a good rapport with my clients both prior, during, and after our shoots. I have established some wonderful friendships this way, and by getting to know them on a personal level...I can truly capture what they are thinking or what emotion they are feeling...when I pick up the camera.
I love all types of photography from children's birthday parties to engagement shoots, and so on. And I can proudly & honestly say that I was the first photographer to introduce this "edgy, urban, and vintage" style of photography to Americus! It has been accepted with open arms by this community and I am both blessed & excited about that!
I try not to take myself too seriously, and love having fun with my clients and their families. I feel my work speaks for itself. It tells a story. It captures moments, emotions, and is not only timeless but captivating. It looks just as amazing in a frame or blown up onto canvas as a studio photograph would, if not, better!
